Acumatica troubleshooting
Use this guide if you see Acumatica errors while exporting timesheets, importing staff or accrual data, or checking payroll mappings.
If you still cannot resolve the issue after following the relevant section, contact Helpdesk.
Error: (invalid_grant)
This error usually means the Wageloch connection token expired or the shared secret is no longer valid.
Step 1: Re-link the Acumatica file
- In Wageloch, open Settings > Payroll > Connection.
- Open the store connection record.
- In the connection window, select Link to MYOB.
- Complete the Acumatica authorisation prompt.
- Return to Wageloch and select Done to save.
Step 2: Check shared secret expiry
- In MYOB Acumatica, open More Items > Integration > Connected Applications.
- Open the Wageloch connected application.
- Review the shared secret expiry value.
- If the secret has expired, create a new shared secret without an expiry.
- Update the Client Secret value in Wageloch and re-link.
If needed, repeat the connection steps in Acumatica setup.
Error: (unauthorized_client) or (insufficient rights to access the subaccount form)
This error usually indicates the Acumatica user account does not have required API-enabled access.
- In MYOB Acumatica, open More Items > User Security > User Management > Users.
- Open the user account used for Wageloch authorisation.
- In License Types, confirm Full User is enabled.
- Confirm either Limited API or Full User (Full API) is enabled.
- Re-link the connection in Wageloch while signed in as that same Acumatica user.
Same user session
Authorise Wageloch while signed in to Acumatica as the same user you just verified.
Error: (cannot go to a derived pay item)
This error occurs when the Acumatica pay item uses derived units instead of entered units.
- Open the affected pay item in Acumatica.
- Find the Units setting.
- Change Units from Derived to Entered.
- Save the pay item.
- Retry the export from Wageloch.
If the error persists
- Confirm the store is linked to the intended Acumatica tenant URL.
- Confirm the current Client ID and Client Secret match Acumatica.
- Confirm the integration user still has API-enabled licensing.
- Contact Helpdesk and include the full error message text.
