Reports

Wageloch reports are grouped by reporting area so you can quickly find information across staff, rosters, clock times, timesheets, and portal activity.

Most reports follow this workflow:

  1. Choose a date range.
  2. Select filters and output fields.
  3. Generate the report.
  4. Export results to Excel when needed.

You can also save commonly used report settings as favourites.

When staff are terminated, their records are archived and hidden in normal views, but can still be included in reports where applicable.

If you need a report that is missing or not in the required format, contact Helpdesk.

HR Reports

HR reports focus on employee records, leave, accruals, qualifications, and staffing trends.

  • Staff List: Generates a list of staff (active and terminated) with contact and employment details.
  • Staff with Qualifications: If Qualifications are enabled, this report shows who holds each qualification, plus attainment and expiry details where relevant.
  • Leave Report: Shows historical leave taken and future leave bookings over the selected period.
  • Accruals Report: Shows accrual balances and can include a liability estimate.
  • Staff with Leave Template: Shows which staff have leave templates configured.
  • Projected Long Service Leave: Forecasts LSL eligibility based on employee start date.
  • Graphical Analysis: Displays staff demographics such as gender, employment basis, tenure, and turnover.
  • Staff with Clock In Password: Lists staff who use password-based clocking.
  • Staff Entitlements: Shows which staff are assigned to each allowance or entitlement.
  • Unavailability Report: Shows historical and future unavailability records.
  • Export Staff to File: Generates a file containing staff information.
  • Staff Turnover Analysis: Shows employment and termination movement for the selected period.
  • Excessive Leave: Highlights leave pattern thresholds (for example repeated personal leave within a short period).
  • The BOOT Report: Better Off Overall Test comparison using prior timesheet data and alternate award/rate options.

Rostered Hours

Rostered Hours reports analyse planned roster data, including projected costs, staffing levels, and roster acceptance.

  • Rosters Hours/Times: Shows total rostered hours by day or shift times in bulk.
  • Roster Times vs Paid Times: Compares rostered shifts against paid timesheet outcomes.
  • Roster Budget by Timesheet Column: Estimates roster hours split by award/timesheet columns and can include paid value estimates.
  • Shift Accept and Decline Report: Shows acceptance and decline responses where Roster Shift Confirmation is enabled.
  • Roster Times vs Clock Times: Compares rostered shifts to actual clocked times.
  • Roster Budget Report: Shows estimated roster costs by person, day, week, and total.
  • Budget Management Report: Summarises rostered staff, leave, total hours, and estimated cost.
  • Staff Counts by Hour: Shows hourly staffing levels across each roster day.

Clock Times

Clock Times reports analyse attendance and recorded clock activity.

  • Who's Here: Shows who is currently clocked in.
  • Clock Times vs Paid Times: Compares clocked times with what was paid.
  • Clock Times by Department and Role: Groups clock time records by department and role.
  • Print Clock Times: Prints clock time records for a selected date range.
  • Clock Times vs Roster Times: Compares planned roster times against recorded clock times.
  • Mobile Clock Times by Department and Role: If Mobile App Clocking is enabled, this report focuses on location, department, and role for mobile clocking users.

Timesheet Hours

Timesheet Hours reports mainly use historical timesheet data, but some can also be used before export.

These reports can include active and terminated staff depending on selected filters.

  • Timesheet Report: Provides a pay-period breakdown similar to the Pre-Submit summary and can also be run on incomplete timesheets.
  • Clock Times vs Paid Times: Compares clocked times against paid outcomes.
  • Pays Management Report: Summarises paid staff, paid hours, leave, headcount, and actual cost.
  • Pays Summary: High-level summary of paid hours and cost.
  • Staff Summary by Timesheet: Similar to Timesheet Report without daily breakdown lines.
  • Average Hourly Staff Costs: Shows average hourly labour cost based on timesheet outcomes.
  • Job Costing: Provides department/role costing detail, useful when job codes or payroll classes are used.
  • Roster Times vs Paid Times: Compares rostered shifts against paid timesheet results.
  • Pays Hours/Times: Shows either total paid hours or paid shift-time detail.
  • Timesheet Notes: Lists daily notes recorded in timesheets for the selected period.
  • Staff Costs by Hour: Shows average labour cost per worked hour.
  • Confirmed Days: Shows which timesheet days are finalised and which remain incomplete.

Sales/Wages

If sales data is manually entered or your Point of Sale is integrated, these reports help compare labour costs with sales over time.

  • Sales Report: Shows sales values by daily, weekly, or monthly view, including projection versus actual.
  • Sales and Wages: Compares sales against wages, with hours and staffing counts for each day/week/month.
  • Sales and Wages Graphs: Shows trend graphs for sales versus wages across the selected period and previous-year comparison where available.

Staff Portal

If Portal Setup has been configured for the Mobile App and Staff Portal, this report category becomes available.

  • Leave Request Report: Shows requested leave type, requested dates, and approval/decline outcome with approver details.
  • Dismissed Notifications: Shows who has viewed and dismissed Message Centre notifications in the Mobile App or Staff Portal.
  • Unavailability Request Report: Shows submitted unavailability date ranges and approval outcomes.
  • Daily Staff Notes from Staff via Portal: Lists staff notes submitted through the app/portal for the selected period.
